Production updates on PVC plants in Europe

Market players shared the most updated production updates on PVC plants across Europe.
Accordingly, Hungary’s Borsodchem and Poland’s Anwil restarted their plants with respective capacities of 400,000 tons/year and 340,000 tons/year by the end of August following maintenance shutdowns during July-August period.
Czech Spolana has recently shut its 130,000 tons/year PVC plant for a short maintenance work by early September. The planned shutdown is slated to last until around September 18-20.
Kem One’s PVC plant at Berre, meanwhile, is expected to remain shut until early October while sources close to the company reported that the company’s quotas are regular.
